Oncology checkup today, and my doc ordered extra bloodwork I haven’t had before. I asked what it was. “Oh, this one tests for any evidence of cancer in your DNA to predict recurrence.” So that’s me updating the patient portal every 2 minutes until the results post… @thankscancer.bsky.social

A special shout out to M44's hero and Board member, Leanna House... otherwise known on social media as @ThanksCancer! Leanna rescued M44 today by donating enough money for us to buy a new (refurbished) desktop computer. Whew! Onward we GO! We are both relieved and grateful! THANKS, Leanna!

Better to do that than not be there at all. #cansky

Exactly. 2x cancer survivor here. Let the health team makes suggestions. It is difficult enough for someone undergoing treatment to find something they can keep down without people, even with good intentions, making them feel guilty.
Be thankful they are in your life and that's about it. #FuckCancer
My son just got news his cancer is in remission last month. As long as he was eating I didn’t care what it was. There is a lot of emotional and mental stress that accompanies this physical diagnosis. They are fighting to cope and survive, support but don’t judge.

Update on World Cancer day! DOCETAXEL isn’t doing enough. Nothing is exploding but previous nodes are become more dense and some increasing. No bone or liver mets. So some gifts on National Cancer day but maybe also and ugly sweater. 😂 Switching to ENHERTU as I am also HERS2+. #ThanksCancer
