New from 404 Media: Meta announced Muse, its AI agent that can book restaurants for you. We've seen internal Meta messages showing Meta is actually testing having these calls being made by human beings in call centers. In those tests its not AI, it's just a person www.404media.co/meta-tests-m...

I see you, Uncle, with your fingers at the trapdoor, to place crumbs of a biscuit to my mouth in the dark. Through a hole the size of a mustard seed, I affix my eye and become faith itself, become the all-seeing god in female form, the grown-woman grammar of Black vernacular. Congregating mice enter my sanctuary, sniffing, praying with their teeth. There go the train of my soul, dragging on the ground like a wedding gown. The gravity of a grandmother's black hole. Being, both bound and intergalactic. I, the wholeness of erasure, an invisible matter hiding in an attic of entrapment. Red ants eat through my legs, freedom tiptoes on acid rain. Palestinian student Mais Khamis Bazazo was killed by a tank shell fired by Israeli forces in Gaza while returning home from school. Mais, a student at Ain Al-Hilweh Al-Zahraa School, had just taken part in the school’s theatre program before leaving for home.
