Some of you might have guessed already, but I'll be attending PixelArt Park in person this year as well! I'm currently doing my best to work on a fun display program/mini game for the event (with some sticker prizes), and then I'll finally work on my website. Hope to see some of you there!!! :)

I have a new rule now that if I get annoyed by discourse or news in the first scroll swipe of the TL I don't look for the rest of the day. like looking at the clouds and understanding it's gonna rain and choosing to stay in. works great so far

Feels like my entire adult life has been a nonstop whirlwind but somewhere around 2023 it all caught up to me and I've been trying to recover ever since. There's still a lot I've gotten done through that, but dang am I hyped to do more than just survive one crisis after another

TRAIL ETIQUETTE: What's cool or uncool? Welcome to my new educational #comic series on the topic of how to behave like someone who gives a crap about nature and other people when enjoying the great outdoors. This week: Sharing the trail!

COMIC. "TRAIL ETIQUETTE" The comic page is split down the middle, with two similar scenes playing out. The left panel is labeled "COOL", while the right panel is labeled "UNCOOL." On the left... "COOL: Stepping aside to give other hikers the right of way." The artwork features a white cis man wearing a red cap and button-down shirt who stands just adjacent of the trail he was descending. He waves at hiker lower on the trail, leaving an opening for him to pass. The other hiker, an API man with black hair half-tied into a ponytail wearing a backpack and hiking clothes, is sweaty and tired, exhausted from hiking uphill. He tells the other hiker "Thanks!" for letting him proceed. On the right... "UNCOOL: Treating trails like 2-way roads." A similar scene plays out with the same hikers, except the uphill hiker is carelessly barging through, bumping into the other hiker ("H-hey!!"), knocking him unbalance. At the bottom of the page, more text explains the etiquette. "Every situation varies! But the best rule of thumb is to just be mindful and aware of other hikers! I step aside for: Large groups, hikers with animals, faster hikers, etc."

i recommend making some silly little projects of your own to make you feel like maybe tomorrow will be fun and interesting. maybe don’t even intend on releasing or selling it. it’s not for those rubes!! what do they know
