Watching S1 of HEROES and... For a mid-2000s release, this show had us eating good! Maybe even a bit ahead of its time. Can't imagine what they'd do to such a show in this streaming era. (Just S1, though. We don't talk about the other seasons.)

Are we still on this handwringing business over whether to dance on the graves of evildoers? In 2026? If y'all don't put on those dancing shoes and get up! Less "thoughts and prayers", more "basta ya".

Unsurprising there's largely an overestimation of minoritized religious affiliations (<5%) & underestimation of Christianity's dominance (70+%). Despite originating from a deeply religious nation, I've been largely *shocked* by how Christian (culturally, spiritually, politically) North America is.
