The steady stream of visitors staying with William Beveridge at the Green Street cottage at Avebury included the social reformers Sidney and Beatrice Webb, and the first Director of UNESCO, Julian Huxley. A future Prime Minister, Harold Wilson, worked in the barn throughout the summer of 1938.

Fudgehenge (made by my wife Clare) was consumed at Stonehenge by Professor Josh Pollard and his students during an excavation within sight of the stones in 2008. Demolished might be a more accurate description.
