ICE agent shot a man in the torso during a traffic stop in North Austin today. He's in serious but stable condition. Austin PD wasn't involved; the mayor wants local police on the investigation for third-party eyes. ICE has been out of control since they started this B.S.

Some context to that whole "Mamdani and AOC were LAUGHING while the 9/11 victims' names were being read out" claim that has been sweeping across right-wing media and MAGA Twitter, from a former aide to Rudy Giuliani.

The videos of @NYCMayor and @AOC laughing are not true. I was standing next to them the whole time. The camera just caught her greeting him hello. Multiple other politicians were laughing and joking behind me. Republicans and Democrats. And for the record I am a life long republican who has been very critical of these two. I’m just sick of this fake news and people just saying whatever they want.
