I wish @zed.dev had focused more on collaboration. Instead of an AI chat, they could've created a collaboration chat, which may or may not accept agents, and commands. The same permission model for AI could be used for any participant.

Still waiting for a nice reverse proxy written in #rust with a nice dsl and excellent lsp support. I don't know why tbh as there are good ones like #caddy or #traefik. I have hope, that it could be pushed to consume even less resources and working with the config would be a breeze, jst like rust.

My small website (reciperium.com) recently got a surge of subscriptions (93) and almost 300 emails were sent. Deteriorating my email score. It was bots. I really wanted to avoid any big corp. software, but I'll have to add something like cloudflare tungsten. Does anyone know an alternative?

What does it say about us that before #LLM, writing docs was optional, and compile times was not that relevant? And now, it seems to be in everyone's mind. It feels like a d*ck move: not for your fellow humans, but yes for LLMs

It's quite interesting how the #nixos pieces start making sense as I start needing them. I just onboarded `deploy-rs` and it was a breeze. I remember reading about it (and similar tools) when I started with #nix and not understanding a d**n thing

I would really like to see a small mesh VPN/VPC for #nixos built on top of #iroh or #wireguard. Dedicated to nix and its deployments. Very simple and hard to break. Right now, I'm running a mesh #vpn with netbird, but I could easily mess things up, as it's not custom built for #nix.

At least we are not that far in the future, where trillionaires will say: "We need more energy, let's ignite Jupiter"!

I'm slowly migrating my infra from #github to #codeberg (with the auto-sync from codeberg enabled for now), as part of a big-tech-unhook. I'm also thinking of moving my blog from the #google controlled `.dev` TLD to the non-profit affordable `.eu` TLD. Any downsides to this I should be aware of?
