Also, what was going on at the University of Cambridge that nobody checked the CV. I remember the last time I had a senior academic appointment. I had to provide A-level certificates! Who was checking?

You can't simultaneously 'throw the book at someone and quickly' and 'the misconduct process is really heavy handed and surely we can handle this informally?', which is what often gets suggested.

Apparently, for decades now Britain has been secretly (but also 'shockingly, in plain sight'!) controlled by ... 🥁🥁🥁 ... the Fabian Society 🤣🤣🤣
