Hmm... Free hit for fpl this week? Get the City players out in case they fold at Anfield after the charges? But keep the option for coming back next week if they're either unaffected or motivated by it all?

Gaming addict, mostly Football Manager, some other games at which I'm absolutely awful. Football, Football Manager and books. That's about it really. Misanthrope. "... to read without joy is stupid", John Williams
Absolutely ludicrous that we get a penalty for that Totally in keeping with current application of the rules but stupendously idiotic

Does anyone care? Genuinely. Is this what younger players want? Cynical old bastards like me would suggest this is style over substance #fm27 www.footballmanager.com/fm27/feature...

NEW BLOG POST! Here's my review of Championship Soccer 2026 - a Sensi-style game where you can build your own footballing world as a player, a manager, or even both! Any reposts appreciated.
Review: Championship Soccer 2026
Hello, everyone, and welcome back to another Fuller FM review. Today, I'm going to look at a brand-new football game that was released earlier this month! No, it's not We Are Football 2027. It's also not that non-league manager game that totally doesn't look like it was vibe-coded with Claude. I will probably get to those titles another time. A couple of years ago, I looked back on a versatile and addictive shareware game from the mid-2000s that had sadly faded into obscurity.

Starting to feel there's a genuine chance City could fold Kicked out of the league, can't qualify for Europe, no super league and sued to death by a series of clubs claiming lost revenue from their cheating I wonder if players could sue to nullify their contracts if they're relegated too

I've been thinking about how Pep, Mancini and the players will feel about this - will they feel a taint on their achievements? And I am absolutely certain, given the overwhelming self-confidence / arrogance of elite sports people, that the answer is a resounding no Should they?

Manchester City greatest crime is warping reality and history for all football supporters. The dreadful irony: the only thing worse than the uncertainty of not having a verdict is having a verdict and realising that uncertainty is now all we have. ⬇️ inews.co.uk/sport/footba...
Heat maps are useless. I hope this is just shorthand for the return of all the analytics - and more analytics than fm24 Otherwise #fm27 is going to be another skip for me
Tifos... Like, they're basically shit, right? I don't get why everyone gets so misty eyed about them I appreciate I'm a miserable bastard with no emotional interest in football /anything but still... I just don't get it.
No middle-aged man is more ostentatiously jacked than an NFL umpire
Once this match is finished, there's no actual football for 20 days Can we please: a - make this game better, and b - get international football to fuck
Looks like the Putin-Trump pincer movement on NATO is about to enter its final stages Russia forces cross the border and annex a bit of Estonia or Latvia, they trigger Article 5, Trump shrugs and says "not my problem, daddy Vlad is a great guy" and the rest of NATO folds

It baffles me that graduates don't realise the vast majority of student loans will never be paid off, and therefore the total value doesn't matter. It's a 9% tax on earnings above the threshold for 30 years (now 40) And it's clearly shite but how didn't you realise? www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Some absolute madness decisions this wkend but overturning that Haaland goal when Enzo is clearly offside is the worst How can he not be interfering with play when he throws himself at a ball, gets within a ball hair of connecting, commits a defender, impedes said defender and distracts the 'keeper
Holy fucking Raya saving a pen Brilliant save too
Every time I see Raya facing pens
He scored two pens today, including a 112th minute equaliser, when his team had played with 10 men for 70 minutes
In the Eredivisie, Telstar's goalkeeper Ronald Koeman Jr (and yes he is, before you ask) scored a last minute penalty which helped keep Telstar out of the relegation playoff - a fate which has instead befallen their opponents Volendam Apart from anything else, amazing effort from Telstar to stay up
Tell you what, the sort of person I want running things is the sort who doesn't pay attention to details, isn't that concerned about "technicalities" like "criminal behaviour" and throws his team under the bus at the first sign of trouble Salt of the earth working class hero Nige is the man for me
PC: "I see you're installing a new program Just scan this QR code to connect it to the account on your phone" Me: "ok" Phone: "I see you've scanned, want to log in? Just type your password to confirm" Me: "why didn't I just type my fucking password on the PC where I have a fucking keyboard?!"
If #fm27 is good (and my expectations are rock bottom), then I've been having a think about saves to get me back into FM...
I really hope #fm27 is good. If they could retrofit a lot of the #fm24 gameplay, particularly data, then supplement that with more, better and more reliable statistics then that's a winner for me I've averaged 1500 hours for every FM up to this year, and just 26 hours for #fm26
The Lazio third shirt is stunning Almost any other club and I'd be buying it for sure
Difficult to think of a better example of "the people making the rules" being the only problem with VAR than that Maguire goa / Greaves og "It's handball if the resulting shot is on target but it's not handball if the resulting shot is off target and deflected in" is nothing but sheer stupidity
Ferdi Kadioglu having a 'mare today Every time I've seen him, he's been either brilliant or woeful
