it's kinda funny how i've been converted from purely wireless headphones to purely wired with an active distaste for wireless stuff. why would i want to plug in a battery for music cutting out next to a microwave and still get worse audio quality?

the propaganda of factoring in how walkable and bikeable a city is has been getting to me though. i know the netherlands is The Bike City but it's still things like "man i wish this bike lane wasn't directly next to cars" or "i wish this street didn't have cars on it"

i wish njb didn't just scream at the idea of the Average American he's thought up of to get mad at. like yeah i get it, this is your 10th video on the same topic for the same place, i get that American cities are hell holes, what do you expect the average person to do about it?

i wish reading was enjoyable for me, there's just nothing there that feels worth it to go out of my comfort zone of Media Enjoyment to go consume idk maybe there's some good book series that people are inevitably going to recommend but. bugh

ai the technology is fine but ai the product is bad for the Normal Capitalism Reasons being companies hate you the consumer and only want to drive [eventual] shareholder value

my boss: "we need to move faster and this new cluster should've been up weeks ago, we need to go go go" also my boss: only doing stuff with claude and literally not allowing me to do anything else because i need to Document and get Approved for issues he doesn't even fucking write himself anymore

i really do want a cute machine that's decent... maybe i just save up for a framework 12 and give up my morals (technically buying any cpu supports companies who work with militaries who is substantially worse than right-wing chuds)

macbooks just have insane power management and i wish anything else came close. i plugged in my laptop after it was completely dead and it still came up from hibernation in like 5 seconds, displaying my wallpaper almost instantly i suppose that's what owning everything lets you do

not to give free advertising but why has there been a weekly codex reset every day for the past week what's going on over there

thinking about how i wasn't allowed to bring my *folding* e-bike into my dorm room, so i set it outside with a very good lock, and then it got stolen a month later. keep in mind this was in university provided open bike parking next to a hospital with multiple cameras around

really hate the new assumption that tailscale ssh check mode has where you can *only* ssh in if the remote username matches your local username. this is something that used to work in my experience. i feel like it's pretty common to have slightly different usernames between devices sometimes...
