Unfortunately Parappa's menu is still in Japanese no matter what, but you can easily just reference a JPG of the English menu and you're fine lol. It's otherwise identical to US. Lammy, the menus are largely English. That one is special because of Stage 6 being uncensored yet still in English.
This had to be something I knew about and subsequently forgot, so I'm posting here for a PSA and general posterity: Both Japanese Parappa the Rapper and Um Jammer Lammy have full English subtitles in addition to voices. For Parappa's menu, so just press X in that top left corner and exit.

Gonna pass on Tomodachi Life 3. Not impressed with what I've been seeing. Just looks like a downgrade from 2 with an over-reliance on customization.
