Just an FYI for folks, automation for bug tracking and testing has been a thing since at least when I started in AAA in 2016, so it pre-dates genAI quite a bit. I'm still in a wait-and-see for Capcom, but people being confused about old tech vs genAI is what the current techbros want.
John Linneman@dark1x.bsky.social · yesterdayEG fell for it too. :( The Capcom presentation contains a slide with "AI世代のゲームエンジンへ" - the article omits the "へ", for one, but the issue is that while 世代 means 'generation', it's in the 'console generation' sense, not like GenAI. Without へ, translation software gets it totally wrong.
