🚨 PUBLICATION ALERT 🚨 I am extremely excited that the First View of my new article "Strongmen, Populism, and Soccer: Comparing Silvio Berlusconi, Viktor Orbán, and Donald Trump" is now available. It was quite an ordeal to get it past reviewer 2, but I made it with help of special issue editors.

I was reluctant to start watching The Shards, the adaptation by Ryan Murphy of Bret Easton Ellis' novel. The reviews were all quite negative. I actually quite like it; it really captures that nihilism of 1980s LA culture (like Less Than Zero did) and works quite well on the small screen.
