This was a lot of fun and I'm inspired now to host more night science events in the pub, and even not just with scientists!
We had a fantastic time at the @nightscience.bsky.social workshop yesterday! Postdocs and PhD students explored the creative scientific process. A huge thank you to @itaiyanai.bsky.social for hosting a fantastic workshop and @natgabrielli.bsky.social for organising a great event.
I’m super excited to share that my PhD work is now out in npj Imaging (@natureportfolio.nature.com)! 🔬 You can read the paper here: rdcu.be/eOKdU

A study led by WEHI and @onjcri.org.au has uncovered a new way to track heterogeneous breast cancer cells as they metastasise to secondary organs. The findings could lead to a powerful new tool to study the complexity of metastatic breast cancer. Published in NPJ Imaging: rdcu.be/eOKdU
Last week our lab came together for our annual lab retreat, kindly hosted by @hlsalliance.bsky.social! We exchanged ideas about our research, spatial omics, and took part in some fun (albeit slightly competitive) activities.
Stunning, what @sabrinalewis.bsky.social just showed at #EMBLSpatialBiology! LeGO depicts cell populations in lung metastases in 3D: www.researchsquare.com/article/rs-6... 🧪 Soon out in npj Imaging @natureportfolio.nature.com
LeGO-3D: 3D imaging of lung metastases and vascularisation using light sheet fluorescence microscopy
Cancer metastasis involves a complex cascade of events, where cancer cells migrate from their site of origin to secondary sites via the lymphatic and circulatory system. During this process, some canc...
