Frens, the dude kitty I caught yesterday didn't make it through surgery. He never got to experience the good life and I am absolutely heartbroken about it. Excuse me while I disappear for a few days and grieve for him. #minterland

(1/2) I have news. Good news: I was able to add on the 3 kittens to the spay/neuter schedule! Gooder (I know) news: I caught one of the dudes that is probably responsible for some of the kittens! Sucky news: He's injured. It is looking like we have to amputate his paw. #minterland
My aunt Amy is having car trouble so she is staying here for a couple of days (I am only 10 minutes from her job) my mom is in the guest room so we had to come up with something. She's sleeping in my bed, I am taking the air mattress. Here is Georgie assisting with every part of setup. #minterland

Poor Georgie. I had a guy here to fix my water softener and Georgie sniffed a little too hard at the part he took off and now has a grease mark on his nose. He's embarrassed so his best bud is checking on him. #minterland

This weekend is one of my favorite weekends of the year. It is the tiny town (it has a gas station, post office, and summer ice cream spot) I live near annual festival. Life slows down, friends gather, and we drink. A lot. Perfection.
Betty Lou has been in the catio for the last 30 minutes. I am so proud of her*!!! *some kittens came to check it out and she hissed at them and tried to wack them. I'm not proud of that. #minterland

Good news: I saw all three new babies. They are still hanging out with Lois. I am fairly confident it is only 3 of them. Bad news: they are extremely scared. If they see me move, they run. They are going to be extremely difficult to catch. Also two of them are part squirrel? #minterland
