Active duty during each of five decades. Drafted ‘69. Best coffee ever? Remembering the thermos 200 miles into a 3,000 mile road trip. Unless you are here to push back against the authoritarian takeover of America, there is no need to follow. #Alaska

Hello Alaska! For me the low point in Ohio Dan’s career is when he sent out a letter excusing Trump‘s felonies by blaming the NY legal system. Convicts seeking community placement don’t pass step #3 of their MRT class when they utilize that excuse. And the judging panel is other convicts.

I noticed a sign on the exit door of the truckstop that said they now deliver via DoorDash. Quiet evening at home, none of us feels like cooking: What should we have delivered Thai, Chinese, Mexican? Well, there’s this wiener that’s been spinning around on those little rollers…

I get texts on my dashboard screen and it asks me if I want to answer and then writes down things that are probably illegal in 14 southern states.

When I began fishing on the Kusko in the early ‘80s, for every one spawning salmon, six would return. The return rate is now less than one for every spawner. We can’t afford to wait any longer to act. That’s why I’m fighting to ban factory trawling.

Senator Dan Sullivan recently sent an email to his donor list “personally” asking for small-donor donations of $3, $5, or $10 with the disclosure that funds will go to, among other things, “pay for gas as we visit isolated rural areas of Alaska.” What an embarrassment #akelect

Republican Senate candidates have repeatedly voted to continue the price-spiking Iran War and drive up fuel costs. Meanwhile, they’re sending out fundraising emails begging their own constituents to pay for their gas. meidasnews.com/news/gop-sen...

Overheard on the #3 bus: I like a nice strong coffee at 3 AM when I don’t have to be anywhere in a hurry. That way, I can be wide awake and fully appreciate being able to sleep in.

The Trump regime has achieved Superallium. (Literally beyond the onion) and Hyperallia Satirica: The theoretical point where reality becomes more absurd than satire. Thus, Lex Caepae, The "Onion Law" has now been broken.
