A very pleasant walk along the former the Edgware, Highgate and London Railway now the longest linear nature reserve in London, and then on to Alexandra Palace through Highgate Woods. The first half was seeing an area I’d lived in as a student from a new angle.
We all know ‘one for sorrow, two for joy, three for a girl, four for a boy’ when applied to magpies but do you know the rhyme for ALL other corvids? Well, I do, and I’m very chuffed at having seen three in Alexandra Park. One for coffee, two for tea, three for a beer, four for a wee. Cheers! 🍺
