7 weeks since 2nd liver transplant 1st was in October and didn’t work. So far this one is doing well!

Urgh. Kidneys doing well, new liver very good, portal vein has a clot 😭. Blood thinners and possible TIPPs to try and sort it.

@nhsmillion.bsky.social hi in 15 years I have had two TIAs, an appendicitis, a couple of broken bones, two years of ascetic drains and 4 weeks ago a hernia op and then a liver transplant 2 days later. I’m still here because of the NHS. Nurses, doctors pay them all they want they are amazing.
