The immediate danger of climate change has become increasingly visible in recent months, from devastation caused by melting glaciers in Nepal to historic wildfires in France. Adaptation and mitigation policies are both urgently needed to prevent these disasters from becoming ever more common.

Thanks so much to our colleagues who organised two fun and fulfilling days in the province of Groningen for us, from kayaking (and a swim) to vegan catering to a guided city tour and even our own "music awards".
