Social media is the death of politically coherent movements and strategy. I doubt that was the intention from the outset, but for autocrats it is a handy byproduct.

Everyone should be aware of just how censorious Bluesky is- labelling important legal analysis relating to an imminent Supreme Court case as “intolerance”. Absolutely bonkers and reminiscent of Twitter in the good old days.
