I can’t presume to speak for everyone who has a terminal illness but it has been incredibly distressing to see discussion of a bill that seeks to alleviate suffering hijacked by those to whom it does not apply. So much public outrage over what should be a private decision.

So strange. What we hear is not what’s there.

Is anyone engaged in protecting us? Third time in four months a supply issue with letrozole, a vital and basic drug for Stage IV breast cancer patients.

Watching and enjoying the fishing thing with Paul Whitehouse and Bob Mortimer, as I watched and enjoyed (much more) The Trip. I don’t want to be that person but isn’t there something similar with women eating, travelling and laughing with/at each other as we do in real life all the bloody time?

Heartbroken at the death of Anthony Holden, Tony to many, and Toots to me. Impressive obits in The Times and Telegraph but neither adequately express how generous and thoughtful a friend he remained through the six years after his stroke. RIP sweet friend.
