I’ve been so erratic on all social media lately, but I am inching closer to 3k here (which is what I had in the bad place before dipping) Would love to get back there and maybe even beyond if people enjoy seeing my art 😁

Oh hi. It's my birthday 🙂 I have to say that diving into acrylic painting and book illustration over these last few years has been incredibly rewarding, and I enjoy learning more, painting more, and getting older really is quite great!

Cover illustration for "Fusion Fragment" showing a portrait of a woman facing upwards, as a mirror shatters around her. The mirror shards all show eyes of other women trapped within them. Two mask shards are also falling around her face, inspired by Japanese kabuki masks, representing her mixed heritage. Acrylic painting showing Sauron's defeat by Lúthien and Huan at Tol-in-GaurhothBook interior illustration for "Fangs for Nothing", showing the MC Winnie in a castle hallway. The scene takes inspiration from Gothic horror and Gothic romance movies, from the nightgown design to the candelabra. A black cat hides behind Winnie's leg, a vampire hides in a dark doorway, and the red candlelight reflects of a suit of armor and several empty painting frames. Acrylic character illustration for a fantasy book commission. The two characters are shown in a sparse, partially destroyed ice palace hall. Both characters have unnaturally pale skin and are clad in black.

Today is my birthday! 🎉 as ritual I'll share my artworks here and I'd really appreciate shares to help me reach more people 💗 This year I have many things I'd like to achieve, I want to paint more book covers and illustrations, and maybe one day getting the chance to paint for Magic the Gathering 🫶🏻

"The great hunt". Illustration piece I did for Paul Scott Canavan's mentorship. It represents an haunt scene, the hunter is mounting a big white tiger with piercing white eyes -sign that she's blind- which is roaring as she's sprinting through the action. The hunter has heavy clothing on, inspired by the Mongolian and Slavic clothing. He has long black hair moved by the wind, and he's holding a sword in his hand, ready to defend his wood. The environment is a snowy wood, old trees and branches all around the scene, as the white snow covers them. The sun is setting, and the overall atmosphere looks pinkish, lightened by the lights of the time of the day. Pink, yellow and blue shading on the sky, as the clouds move, forming interesting shapes.A dramatic digital fantasy illustration depicting a figure with long, flowing dark hair and prominent vampire fangs stepping down a flight of stone stairs. They are wearing a long, dark tattered coat, a buckled vest or corset, and dark trousers. Their arms are outstretched, channeling vibrant, swirling purple magic from their hands. The character is positioned in front of a stone archway that opens up to a misty, pale green forest. In the shadowy foreground on either side of the stairs, monchs with glowing purple eyes appear to be reacting to the magic. The overall atmosphere is dark, gothic, and action-oriented.Fantasy digital illustration of a monstrous woman in a dark blue gown standing in a snowy forest stream. She has long white hair, large white deer antlers, glow-in-the-dark eyes, and a wide, terrifying mouth full of sharp fangs. Black ravens perch on bare tree branches around her, while deer stand amidst the snow in the background.Illustration of a young elf with short reddish hair and pointed ears kneeling in a misty forest, reaching desperately toward an ornate gold crown with blue gemstones that lies in a shallow stream just out of reach.

At my part time job I just unboxed a set of sock puppet kits for kids where the package image is AI generated. Yeah nothing jumpstarts a child’s creativity and self esteem like showing them an example they can’t replicate 🙄
