This is an actual problem and it is very common for things like this to be seen as a hot take. We owe the people who pay us the work we promised. It is our job. -- If you are in the comments, read this and are guilty of this. Don't defend it. Try to do better and take the steps to fix your mistakes

I’m reminded of the time I had this “hot take” on Twitter where I said furry artists should be held accountable for their actions. And that it was unacceptable for artists to take clients money for a comm and not deliver. The craziest part was I lost a few artist friends over this.

I find it crazy to accept comms if you are going to be taking months over them without communication, like surely there was a way better way to pace those offer and not borderline scam people who actually trusted you enough to give you money...
