"I know that history is on our side." -- China Tiananmen scholar Rowena He, on combating government censorship and revisionism. No one is more devoted to truth, justice, or her students than Professor He. Very glad CECC chose to invite her to testify today. www.youtube.com/watch?v=xsVO...

Tmr I will testify at the Canadian Parliament on the experience of Hongkongers & allies with transnational repression, how the CCP is using tools like the #UnitedFront & #HKETOs to threaten democracies & free speech, and what Canada can do to counter this effort. Tune in at 3:30pm ET; link below.

Today #JimmyLai begins testifying in court for the 1st time in his #NationalSecurityLaw trial. Lai entered the court in a grey blazer and a pair of glasses, waving & smiling at his family members who sat next to #CardinalZen. He raised the Bible and swore his evidence would be true in court. (1/3)

#HongKong47: A cold, rainy, sleepless night in #HongKong with a T1 typhoon warning. Yet hundreds of Hongkongers remain in queue for the court hearing of the HK47 who is expecting sentencing in the next few hours. Don't let them fight alone. #StandwithHongKong47 (cr. The Witness HK)

Join us tomorrow at 4pm on the House Triangle to show our community's support for the #HongKong47 and hear from Members of Congress and Hong Kong advocates on this. Our voices will not be silenced.
