DC is tied for the best cardiac survival score in the nation at 44%. A decade ago, it was 22%. We are deeply grateful to our DC Fire and EMS teams for showing up every day to keep DC safe and healthy.

We're turning an abandoned school into a brand-new recreation center in Ward 5. We will deliver 2 basketball courts, teen gaming and senior lounge, splash pad, community garden, and more. And that makes Crummell Community Center our first official groundbreaking of the summer.
