i saw a bluesky post about something something people who are against using references because its cheating should try to draw a horse from memory I am not against reference images, i use them, however i thought it would be funny to try Ive only drawn a horse seriously... once? 4-ish years ago

new marshal ref, right in time for artfight For some reason, even though i have refs even older than marshals prior one (Aeklys, Dino, and a few others), his old ref bothered me WAY more than those. Something about the art quality in it just pissed me off in a particular way.

i picked up drawing in my sketchbook during ttrpg sessions again recently. My current group is online, so for months now i foolishly thought "dangit i cant doodle!" then i realized im actually an idiot and nothing is stopping me from just having my sketchbook in my lap while playing on the computer

soooo i made a new sona big blue chicken is still my primary sona, but i *also* have this guy now! Ive had Dino since i was like, what, 15? Thats a long time! Dino is and always will be very me, but i have grown a lot and needed some new skin to inhabit, for additional purposes that dino dosent fit.
