IndieBI - sell more games

@indiebi.com

The only revenue intelligence and optimization platform for PC and Console games. Automatically track, analyze, and improve revenue and sales of your games on Steam, Switch, PlayStation and all other major platforms! 📈 https://indiebi.com/get-app

In 2018, IndieBI was just a small internal tool. It tracked 20 products. Three years later we gathered seed funding from 15 games industry founders and companies. Today we turn 5 as a company. The numbers look… a little different.🙂

We'll be at Gamescom! We track more than 100,000 premium game products, the largest cross-platform dataset in the industry. So we know what's working right now, and we use it to help our clients sell more games: discounts, pricing, regional strategy, all of it.

IndieBI will be at Develop:Brighton, 14 to 16 July! Tom, Callum, Dean, Pavol and Caolan will be there, happy to talk data and ways to save time on commercial ops and get more revenue out of your catalogue. Drop them a DM. Worst case, you get a drink or ice cream.

Two sessions. One Tom with a lot of charts. IndieBI is heading to Digital Dragons! Tom's got a talk and a panel lined up on discoverability and pricing strategy, and a few more of us will be around happy to hang out and talk games revenue. We're buying drinks so hit us up in DMs!

If you sell on more than one platform, your data is scattered before you even open a spreadsheet. Steam has its own reports. Console backends do their own thing. Every store gives you numbers in a different format, on a different schedule, with its own idea of what "a sale" even means.

Your new game shipped. Did it succeed? Most studios get a scatter of platform numbers and maybe a spreadsheet. Useful, but not the full picture. You're left guessing whether week-two drop-off is normal, how you stack up to your own catalogue, and what to do next.

Most studios did not get into games to spend the first week of every month exporting CSVs and screenshotting dashboards. Monthly performance email for the team. A board update. Quick check-in for the CEO between meetings. Investors asking for a snapshot of how things are going. It adds up fast.

Steam just dropped the full lineup of Fests for 2026. Feeling ready? If you’re planning discounts for 2026, the math can get messy fast. Cooldowns, depth, timing… one wrong move and you’re leaving money on the table.

A small line in the credits, but it means a lot. Tavern Keeper just launched in Early Access on Steam and it’s already sitting at Overwhelmingly Positive reviews. Greenheart Games is part of IndieBI’s Partner Program, which means we get to act as their commercial team.

🎮 How should you price your game? With $3B+ in annual revenue tracked through IndieBI, we’ve seen what works and what doesn’t. Today, our CEO Tom is going live with Unity to share spicy takes, hard truths, and practical advice on pricing strategy.

🎮 New in IndieBI: PlayStation 5 Traffic Data Perfect for optimizing content, tracking performance, and spotting trends early. It’s a fresh layer of visibility into how players engage with your games on console.

🚨 Steam just introduced new reporting on the impact of past discounts 🚨 It’s great to see developers and publishers getting more access to their own data. Better insights mean better decisions. That said… at IndieBI, our clients have been tracking this level of detail for a long time already.
