The big through line for Tim Curry and Dolly Parton for me is how they both brought joy to me my entire life. Different reasons, different roles, different moments of my life, but they both just continued to create.
"My little butterfly wings are getting kinda tired." Dolly knew the power of leading with love. She is, and will always be, an inspiration and an example. She's been a guiding light in my life and so many others. An angel on earth went home. We'll always love you, Dolly.

i know everything's been said but, if nothing else, i hope Dolly Parton has taught a lesson that people from the American south or really any part of the world are not all any one thing-- when tragedy strikes the southern US i see so many ppl scoff and go "serves them right for how they vote"
I have read a couple of posts on the theme of "there will never be another Dolly." And there won't be. She was a wonderfully special person. So are you. And Dolly herself really wanted you to be YOU, and to love yourself. So be you. And to honor her, be the kindest you that you can be.
