Aren’t these spectacular? Dinnerplate Dahlias. They are about 6” or more across. A friend walked in with these when we met for lunch—they were so dramatic and everyone in the place oooh’d and ahhh’d…then I realized they for ME! And she grew them herself.

The MAGA regime recently killed the largest ancient 250 year old “Grandmother” Cottonwood tree in Arizona’s indigenous territory just to expand the orange felon’s fucking wall. I’ll never forgive anyone who chose this evil.

This gate at the Theresianum Academy in Vienna uses a one-point perspective, it appears to extend back into space and makes it look like the actual wrought iron gate is much farther down the path. But thanks to its clever use of line and scale, it all sits on a flat plane. Original post
