With Goncalo away and the prof off to Brussels for a few days I tried a trip with #sophiefromromania to the Monday park with the long lead on my own. And gosh it was tiring..

A brief standoff with another dog who dared to use her beach and then #sophiefromromania had a stroll along the shore- it’s now becoming a routine part of her morning walk
A few Zoomies then #Sophiefromromania settled down to a long detailed survey of the seashore and the rocks. Then she took some persuading to come off the beach

Day 5 of #Sophiefromromania adventures on the beach and she’s doing zoomies into the sea - hard to remember that days ago she was scared of the waves
Day three of #sophiefromromania adventures on the beach and she has a long slow mooch along the shore and onto the rocks. But then she notices there are. OTHER PEOPLE ON THE BEACH and we beat a retreat
Great success with the long lead this morning - after years of trying and failing to get #Sophiefromromania on the beach we struggled to get her off it
Yesterday #sophiefromromania was brave enough to go on the beach until she was scared by the sound of a wave. Today she seemed to decide she loved it. Did some zoomies and even dipped her toe almost in the waves.
Big news - #Sophiefromromania went on the beach for the first time. She was giddy with a mixture of excitement and fear and eventually fear won out but still a big leap forward
This is a bit of a working holiday - the Prof and I are both finishing books. Not sure about #Sophiefromromania though it wouldn’t surprise me to hear she had a book deal
