Yesterday, I put a mixture of blue and purple gels on the landscape lights. Last night I didn’t like the purple, so I switched them out today for blue. Hope to make the house appear to recede while making the props stand out.
We went to At Home looking for Halloween clearance because we don’t have enough crap in this house.
Put gels on the landscape lights: Blue on the house; Green on the shrubs. Installed an RGB floodlight on the tombstones that fade different colors every 10 seconds. There is another RGB floodlight on the Skeleton Groundbreaker that also changes color. Orange floodlights on the row of skeletons.
New iPhone came in. I loaded the patch that is supposed to keep it making phone calls so hope it works. Going to keep it since it has more storage than my old iPhone. Also the battery was shot on old phone.
A coyote just trotted down the street. Not happy about seeing one the daytime. Hear them all the time at night
Had to turn the heat on in the house. Cold weather is coming too fast this year

Back in 2020 during the pandemic when there was a shortage of weightlifting equipment, I ordered dumbbell handles for $39. Was going to order a second set today and the same brand is $105. Thanks, Orange Idiot, for tariffs jacking up prices.
Apple said it’s too late to cancel the order even though it hasn’t shipped yet. But they did say I could return it to the store. Maybe I’m just being silly. But I do want a problem free phone. And the 18 pro max apparently has problems.

Apparently I’m in between pants sizes. I have a couple of pairs of tactical pants in medium. They are so large they fall off me and look huge. Ordered 2 pairs of small from the same company. I can barely get them fastened. Guess I need to lose more weight.
After all these years of going to NYC, I finally bought a shirt. But it was on sale for $15 and it was cold in the airport
We almost left Schigadoon at intermission. We didn’t like the first act. We stayed because it won a Tony. Felt like it had to get better. And it did. Second act was good.
So tired of paying a good chunk of money for clothes plastered with a designer’s name or a company logo. If they want me to advertise for their brand, they should give me the clothes and pay me a fee.
Never experienced what happened in the theatre tonight. I expect Rocky to be a little rowdy but there was an asshole sitting right behind us that screamed at the top of his lungs after almost every line.
We went to Saks. Ridiculous prices. $400 for a sweatshirt with the sleeves cut off? $225 for a black t-shirt? No! I’ll keep my money, thanks though.
I went into an actual record store today. Tiny hole in the wall place loaded with new and used vinyl. Fun to browse. Reminds me of the old days but today’s prices are way too high. Also, I love my old records & still play them. Have 2 great turntables. But streaming is so much more convenient.
