Love seeing new-to-me covers of old favorites!! #TheHobbit #Tolkien #Books #BookCovers 📚💙 US, published in 2001, cover illustrations by Peter Sis 💕
Aqcuired another poster. Had never seen this before. 1974 Hobbit art by Rob Brown and Ken Sanders. Pen and ink drawing. Created using cross hatching. I think that's the term, maybe somebody artistic will know the correct term @joelmerriner.bsky.social #Tolkien #TheHobbit
* The Hobbit by J.R.R Tolkien (1892-2973), Pleasure in Reading Edition 1968, Longmans, London Cover by unknown artist #1968 #from1968 #jrrtolkien #thehobbit #smaug
I painted Smaug, and then put actual gold leaf on it. Kinda proud of this one. :3
Today is #HobbitDay apparently! Here is a fake cover I drew a while back after reading the book for the first time.
“The winds of the Misty Mountains” One of seven watercolours inspired by The Hobbit I created in 2025 for a publication by Legendaria Ediciones which is going to be released later this year. Happy #HobbitDay #TolkienTuesday #TolkienTrewsday
Happy #Hobbit day🎉 May your beer be laid under an enchantment of surpassing excellence for seven years🍻 and come in pints🍻 #Tolkien #Literature #books #Middleearth #Lordoftherinds #fabricart
🍄🟫 RADAGAST THE BROWN 🍄🟫 Hey, it's been a while, huh? After an eternity spent wandering the twists and turns of an artblock, I’ve finally come out the other side. And this illustration is the one that got me back on track 🧡 #radagastthebrown #radagast #thehobbit #art #lunidae
Giant LEGO Smaug Dragon by Justin Boverhof #TheHobbit #lego #smaug www.instagram.com/zusammengeba...
Bard the Bowman cosplay from The Hobbit movies! I really enjoyed making this look so grubby. #cosplay #BardTheBowman #TheHobbit #TheHobbit:TheDesolationOfSmaug #TheHobbit:TheBattleOfFiveArmies
It's a really tiny picture which I don't like at all but I think there have to be bad work too🤩 I tried a new coloring tool on a tablet and so far it's all been difficult for me (I'm whining)😣 #thehobbit
THE Bilbo Baggins[TM]! (Mixing him with a jerboah and a rabbit spoke to me) #bilbobaggins #bilbo #thehobbit
Little horsie (also from an AU, I have too many of them and they are weird).
The Hobbit x Star Trek. Which doesn't work that well, but drawing dwarves as klingons is interesting.
