It was great meeting with Marlene B. Williamson of @ethicalnyc.bsky.social on Central Park West to learn more about the New York Society for Ethical Culture and its remarkable 150-year legacy of social activism.

The recent Nor’easter resulted in the loss of approximately 1,000 blood donations across New York and New Jersey, making this a critical time to spread the word about the importance of donating blood and the need for donors.

There is a humanitarian crisis unfolding on our streets, and too often the organizations trying to help are forced to operate in silos. Frontline outreach providers have told us directly that organizations serving the same people often can’t easily share critical info or coordinate their efforts.

Today I joined Rise and Resist as we blocked United Nations traffic to sound the alarm about what is happening in our country. These are not normal times, and we cannot treat them as though they are.
