Finally starting to get the hang of this life thing.

Could you imagine if we all took care of each other in such altruistic ways. At the end of the day, aren’t we all just walking each other home? IG: @ humankind @ johnandrewdurham

El-Sayed on Trump posting image of him & his wife in a restaurant w/ caption "2 DIFFERENT Americas": "He's right. One in which your overlords are 2 people who don't like each other joined in the interest in making billions off of you, or 2 people who genuinely love each other enjoying pancakes ... "

Unbelievable! The tRump cabal still screams that Biden weaponized the DOJ… when the only one who actually turned it into a personal hit squad was tRump himself. Team tRump is still out here claiming he wants to “pay the victims back” because he “feels very strongly.” www.mediaite.com/media/news/b...

Todd Blanche Insists Trump Still Wants to Pay Victims of DOJ ‘Weaponization’: ‘He Feels Very Strongly, as Do I’

Attorney General Blanche insisted the controversial $1.8 billion anti-weaponization fund is dead, but said he'd still like to see DOJ "victims" get paid.

This idiotic tweet reminds me of when a friend and I visited Oakland Cemetery in Atlanta. Founded in 1850, it reveals a fascinating history. We noticed how many gravestones were for infants. And for many young sibling dying in the same week. We realized that it was before vaccines and antibiotics.

States need to prep for litigation with complaints, TRO motions, and even appellate briefs composed and ready to file on a moment’s notice. Taking days to fully respond to a Trump attempt to blow up our elections could be disastrous, as Al Gore learned 26 years ago. www.dailykos.com/stories/2026...

Never Underestimate a Cornered Rat: Trump’s Election Plot Is Taking Shape

Back in the days when conservatives were so hungry for media platforms that they’d come on progressive shows, I used to regularly debate Wayne Allen Root (here and here, for example).

The "centrist" think tank Third Way is looking to pay someone between $140,000 and $150,000 to spend their days trying to dig up dirt on DSA members. They're trying to sell this gig as "anti-extremism" work, which I find completely disgusting.

from job listing:

As the Director of Anti-Extremism, a typical day might include…

Assembling and updating a database of the DSA’s most extreme ideas and statements and a repository of voting records, affiliations, and issue positions to make available to allies and partners;
Leading public opinion research to identify and test the contrasts that move base voters away from these extreme candidates;
Overseeing the development of memos, talking points, rapid response materials, and other products that make the case against these extreme forces in American politics;
Promoting and marketing our research and materials to ensure they reach decisionmakers quickly, repeatedly, and at scale through a coordinated distribution infrastructure;
Recruiting and arming a group of young, diverse spokespeople to fight the DSA from a center-left perspective and assembling a broad coalition of organizational partners to make the case against extremism;
Running an earned media program to create a drumbeat of our message in op-eds, television appearances, podcasts, and traditional and digital media engagement.
