There are some pieces I still enjoy years after creating them, but not because I "like" them. Usually these pieces were the stepping stone in discovering a new interest, art medium, or skill development like anatomy or lighting in my art. (10 images - see the alt text on each image for more info)
As the creator, I find it difficult to enjoy a large amount of my older pieces, either because of the quality, themes, or disassociation. While it makes sense I am not the same person I was 15, 10, or even 5 years ago, I can recognize the progress but also not "enjoy" the art anymore.
Over the past 15 years, the roster of characters I have portrayed in animation, costumes, or illustrations have grown and changed. Some stayed, some change, some left behind, some I yet to share. These OC's do not even include the licensed folks I have made art with, incl. cosplay, 2D, and 3D.
