Welcome to the official account of Keble College, Oxford 🧱
For the second year running, Keble has been awarded a University Green Impact Gold Award for the continued efforts we have been making to improve our sustainability. Our Sustainability Officer and student Green Impact team share some of the great initiatives behind this year’s award, linked below
Keble never looks quite so vibrant as when it’s full of student ambassadors in bright red t-shirts and thousands of prospective students and their families visiting 🧱 Thanks to everyone who stopped by last week! #OxOpenDays

Somehow we've already reached the end of the academic year! A big thank you to all our students and staff for making it a great one and we wish everyone a wonderful summer ☀️
Keble College was officially founded on 6 June 1870, making today our 156th birthday 🥳
Last week was Summer Eights, Oxford’s annual bumps regatta 🚣 If you want to find out what competing in Summer Eights actually looks like, check out the link in the comments below 👀

Got that Degree Day feeling 🎓🥳 Thank you to Olivia Cho for this lovely photo from Saturday's graduation!
The annual St Mark’s Day service brings us together to celebrate those who shaped the College. This year, on the Chapel’s 150th birthday, we were particularly honoured to have the Chancellor, Lord Hague, mark the occasion with us 🎉
Just over a week until our Chapel turns 150 years old and, predictably, not much has changed in that time! #ThrowbackThursday

The telethon has returned! 📞 Our wonderful student team will be calling our alumni community over the next 2 weeks to chat about all things Keble and to raise money for the College. Here are some of the friendly faces that may be on the other end of the line – thank you to everyone involved!
With clocks going forward an hour tonight, we make the change from Greenwich Mean Time to British Summer Time. This might mean one hour less in bed but it also means the sun won’t set before 7:30 pm again until September! 🥳
We've made it through winter, happy spring equinox! 🌷🐝
A lot can change in 155 years... and a lot can also stay the same 📸 #ThrowbackThursday
Our brickwork has been looking particularly radiant in this week’s late afternoon sun ☀️🧱
For #NationalLoveYourPetDay, we asked our students to share their photos of our Warden's dog, Rievaulx, and they did not disappoint 🐕 Thank you to Sarah, Phoebe and Melinda for capturing these lovely photos 📸
The crocuses have started to pop up around our gardens and grounds. In the language of flowers, or floriography, the crocus symbolises cheerfulness and we couldn’t agree more! They also provide a source of nectar and pollen to emerging bees after the cold winter 🐝
Happy International Zebra Day from your favourite “holy zebra style” college! What was intended as an architectural insult in 1870 is something we wouldn't want any other way 🦓
For today's #BlueSkyArtShow theme of #cold, here's Keble College Oxford, seen from University Parks after heavy snowfall. #EastCoastKin
Brightening up what has been a rather grey January, the first snowdrops have been spotted in our flowerbeds 🌱
Join Keble College this evening on BBC Two as they take on last year’s winners, Durham University, in the Christmas University Challenge final. The final will be broadcast at 8:30pm, featuring Keble’s team of Paul Johnson, Frank Cottrell-Boyce, Anne-Marie Imafidon and Caroline Criado-Perez.
And just like that, we’ve reached the end of Michaelmas term. Whilst we keep our fingers crossed for the real thing, here’s a throwback to last year’s snow ❄️ We wish everyone a restful break and look forward to welcoming our students back for Hilary term 🧡
Thank you to everyone who attended our Advent Carol service this evening🕯️ Missed out this time? We have our second service of Advent Carols on Sunday and a service of Christmas Lessons and Carols next Friday 🎶
The first signs of Oxmas have arrived here at Keble🎄
Next Friday, alumna @suzannafitzpatrick.bsky.social will be launching her poetry book 'Crippled' at the Crisp Hollamby Lecture Theatre, HBAC, featuring guest readers @tessafoley.bsky.social and Sarah Gibbons. 📅 5:45pm, Friday 14th 🎟️ Free for all to attend More info below ↓
A happy spooky season from us and our Warden’s dog, Rievaulx 🐕🎃

The clocks go back an hour tonight as we return to Greenwich Mean Time, giving us an extra hour of sleep to enjoy 🍁
