This kylix (an ancient Greek wine drinking cup) depicts a nude Circe preparing her potion for Odysseus' men, who have been turned into anthropomorphic animals. Currently at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.

Drinking cup (kylix) depicting scenes from the Odyssey. Circe and the companions of Odysseus, eight figures. Circe appears in the center mixing her potion for Odysseus' men. The men have animal heads and arms, but retain their human lower bodies. Eurylochus escapes the scene at far right and Odysseus enters at far left. This is a Juvenile Gouldian finch it takes about 5 to 8 weeks to complete its physical color transition during the juvenile molt. The entire color change process typically starts around 3 to 4 months of age. Live in grasslands and open savanna's of Northern Australia
