New work from our labs (with @itsthewoolab.bsky.social). Congratulations to soon-to-be Dr. Tu, who convinced us that Met was simply too juicy a target to ignore when it comes to controlling endoderm migration. #zebrafish, #endoderm.
New preprint alert! Led by @qsb-uc-merced.bsky.social grad student Po-Shu Tu from my and Stefan Materna's labs, we found that the receptor tyrosine kinase Met is required for directional migration of #endoderm cells in #zebrafish. But — plot twist! — Met's canonical ligand HGF is dispensable.
