I finished another project! Dorothy destroyed her cactus scratcher, which was part plush and part scratcher. I built it back up, made wooden arms so she can stand on them, and removed all of the shredded jute rope with new rope. I am not very happy with the right arm looking a bit noodley.

Uh oh. Dorothy has become obsessed with....my toilet? She keeps staring at the back of the toilet. She spent all night in the bathroom last night. I stared with her and I have no idea why it's captivating. Is there a bug that randomly comes out sometimes? Or is there a toilet ghost? #dottiedaily

A whole 2 years after I initially thought of it, I finally built a wood box to hold Dorothy's scratching pads. Woodworking requires so many tools and things, which required me to dig through boxes to find everything. Ow my back. One day, I will have a proper Woodworking space.

Saw a guy covered in blood with a hole in his neck wandering around after the Hollywood Bowl let out. Made sure there were other folks around and then cops/ambulance arrived. Just another day in #Hollywood.

Poor girlie. She had a rough few days. She got stuffed into a bag kicking and screaming, endured nonconsensual car rides and medical procedures, puked a lot, was fatigued and lethargic from said medical procedures, and is finally feeling better 2 days later #dottiedaily

I fear I messed up with pet insurance. 2018-2022: Alice was insured by Nationwide. Thank god I got on the insurance right before she was diagnosed with cancer. The plan was so good: premiums were around $250/year, deductible was $250, and the plan reimbursed 90% of all accident/illness costs.
