Prepping for season 13 of American Horror Story the only way I know how. #art #ahs

Digital portrait painted in Procreate.

Subject is a skeleton wearing a 1920s old Hollywood turban pinned with a gold cockroach. The skeleton is clutching their cheek and smoking magic from a long gold cigarette holder while wearing black silks gloves adorned with gold stiletto nails. They are wearing glamorous earrings made of blue topaz and gold. Their fangs are gold plated as well as their eyebrows and eyeliner with a gold Medusa piercing with mint eyeshadow. They are enrobed in a fluffy cheetah print robe with a pink feather boa.
They are standing in front of cockroach wallpaper with a gradient overlay.

WHOA- ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE BE UPON YOU!!! #Zombarty I dunno how this happened, but you all better start running before you and your OCs turn too!! 🧟🧟 It's not /so/ bad tho- doesn't Leif look good as a zombie?? 👀 #SkyOC #BurakkuArt #ArtChallenge #Zombie #FrankenstiensMonster #HalloweenArt #Halloween

Digital drawing in sketch style of BurakkuHardt's OC Leif, drawn three times in different zombie/Frankensteins Monster forms; as well as a heart with eyes, medical supplies, a medical-gloved hand holding a scalpel, and another hand covered in blood.
The sketches are laid out together in a full spread and fully colored; the colors are dark, murky, and a bit tan/yellowed as if on old paper.

The first Zombie Leif has an unhinged jaw, tongue lolling out and licking the hand cradling his face. He wears a suit and tie with his hair pulled back in a ponytail, a hearing aid, and stitches across his face with discolored parts of skin.

The second Zombie Leif, slightly bellow the first, shows him with closed eyes and a soft smile- his face is stitched together, but the stitches around his mouth have popped, hanging loose with a hole where they should be closed, showing his teeth. He wears fancy, thick but delicate clothes- puffed white sleeved on a dark fabric with gold trim and pearls; the shirt is collard, but shows his full chest- which is also stitched together with discolored spots of skin. His hair is in a braid, and is wearing a hearing aid.

The third Zombie Leif, bellow the other two and a bit to the left, shows Leif with long, loose, untied hair that has a slight curl to it from being tied up prior. He wears gold lined sunglasses with a green diamond shaped glass, a white opaque/see through blouse with wavy trim and puffed sleeves, tucked into a dark multicolor corset with gold trim. He has stitches across his body and face, dead looking eyes, and gold staples holding his jaw together.

The first tree episodes of AHS were supposed to pull me from my depression, instead I'm confused by characterization choices. Also part of my bedroom ceiling caved in. So there's that I have to handle. Art backlog will be updated over time

Alright, finished painting this vampire model last night AND played with my camera settings to get pictures that don't make me sad. All in all, I'm happy with how this mini turned out.

Snail sharks 🐌🦈 shnails, snarks...?! #art

A collection of illustrations featuring a shark-snail hybrid against a green, wavy background. The shark featured is an epaulette shark with a sea shell on their back, yellow in colour with a cream belly. They have round circles on the sides of their body, and little snail tentacles on the top of their head. They are shown enjoying a variety of veggies, hiding in their shell, and playing with smaller snails. Epaulette sharks can crawl around on land, and that is exactly what this wee friend loves to do while leaving a telltale trail behind!

Heads up because I know SOMEONE out there is going to fall for it, but if you use vgen for commissions, please be weary of the "I accidentally reported your account" scam. Once I declined this commission, they DM'd me with the whole routine, but it started off with this.

Heads up, artists 🚨 There’s a massive scam wave hitting DeviantArt right now DO NOT CLICK IT. If you have artist friends on DA, please boost this. I’d hate to see someone lose their account or payment info over something this stupid 🖤 { #DeviantArt #ArtistBeware #ScamAlert }
