Paws and smell the roses 🌹 Hearing dog in training, Pickles, settled comfortably and still kept his focus on his volunteer whilst she browsed the flowers. Settling is a key skill for any hearing dog when they visit public places, and Pickles did a super job 🐾

It's #DeafAwarenessWeek & we're highlighting some barriers that many deaf people face. Joanna, with hearing dog Joey, shares: “Supermarkets were a challenge. I’ve been asked to move out of the way but I didn’t hear. One person even pushed their trolley into the back of my legs to make a point.”
