It is discouraging and disgusting to see a bunch of fellow voice actors - especially those with vast tenures and resumes - who say for "No Ai In VO" who also proudly use Gen Ai to create "ai images/art" on Instagram. You cannot say "no Ai in my profession" and then use it to take jobs from others.

I know everything feels terrible and doomy but I've been working on surveillance issues for most of my adult life and I have never seen so much energy, momentum, and concrete VICTORIES happening as what we are seeing right now on Flock cameras and facial recognition in venues. Keep. Going.

I want companies to understand that when I see an AI flier, my brain instantly deletes it. I don't think, "Ooh, I should go to this event!" I rush past it like it's a pile of dog poop. Same for ads with AI models. I assume that if your marketing is cheap garbage, so is your product.
