One benefit from AI slop has been my genuine adoration for non-artistic people making shitty graphics and signs that say "I will never use AI even tho this took longer and looks a bit shit". Y'all rock.

GenAI boosters are oblivious to how completely reliant they are on the companies and infrastructure for the tech existing uninterrupted for the foreseeable future. You take any digital tool away from an actual creative and they could probably still implement their vision with a burnt stick on stone.

Wow. LOISH got accused of using Ai to make her art. I started following her on early deviantart. I remember first seeing her paintings in college. This is ridiculous, no one is safe. Artists Ive followed for actual decades are getting harassed because their work has been stolen and regurgitated.
