Hahaha of course Squarespace doesn't do pro-rated refunds so even though I'm cancelling a yearly subscription that renews NEXT MAY apparently I'm just out the $276 I paid for that year after two months. Fuck this company, fuck these landlord tactics, I'm reporting them to my state attorney general.

For another $30 a year (so $49 total per year) I have upgraded from Carrd Pro to Carrd Pro Plus, which includes custom redirects and all my previous shop links will now link to the new shop!!! VICTORY IS MINE!!!

I have one (possibly final) BigCartel discovery: While they allow for the use of custom domains, they do not allow for the use of custom URLs. I want to be able use the custom url scarlettgaleauthor.com/shop so all the places I've linked that don't break, but BigCartel can't handle it. 🙃

I think I am once again at the end of my thread about BigCartel's limitations. I won't know for sure until I get orders, but I do hope it will hold up as a Squarespace replacement. It's a lot cheaper - the Gold Plan I'm on with annual billing is $144, as compared to the $348 SS wants to charge me! 🧵
