Today, Utrecht University staff and students are on strike to protest against the budget cuts in education and impending layoffs.
Despite patriarchy's persistence, growing numbers of men believe they have it worse off than women. And, new research shows this "male victimhood" ideology is most common among men who aren't facing hardship. Which means what they're really feeling is status loss. 1/ www.psypost.org/male-victimh...

To the national protest against budget cuts in science and higher education! The Dutch government foresees major cuts that will result in higher costs for students, esp those needing more time to finish, and lay offs in higher ed that will increase work pressure and harm quality of teaching.
