NHS 24 is now providing mental health support to people across the region. Anyone who urgently needs mental health support should contact their GP, or, outside working hours, phone NHS 24 on 111. If they already receive NHS mental health care, they should contact the relevant team, or call NHS 24.

Everything from keyhole surgery to speech and language therapy was on show at the Inspiring Futures careers event this month. 874 pupils from all 16 of the region's secondary schools found out what careers NHS DG could offer them. For the full version of this video, visit youtu.be/qAQdaC1p9kM

Our immunisation teams will be visiting secondary schools from March to offer the HPV (human papillomavirus) vaccine. It helps protect young people against a range of cancers later in life. Consent forms went home through schools before Christmas, and there's still time to take up this opportunity.
