Ugh, I have to take my car in tomorrow. The front end is making a noise. Hubs thinks it is a wheel bearing. I just hope it can be fixed without costing an arm and a leg. Adulting sucks.
Well my dinner was a big fat flop. I had got a couple of steaks from Kroger to cook for our anniversary. They were so tough they weren't even edible. The mushrooms and rolls were good. Plus I have a chocolate cake.
Still warm out but a cloudy and gray day so I made a pot of chili. Yummy.
I am heartbroken &angry. We've been here for 21 yrs. Until now there has been old growth trees across the street from us. Last year a new house was built down from us. They only took out trees needed to build. Now the lot across from us is being cleared for building.They are taking out ALL the trees
I learned a new easy way to cook a turkey breast. I cooked it in the crock pot, an hour on high and 5-6 hours on low. It turned out really good. And I made a broccoli casserole. It was a good dinner and we have left overs for tomorrow.
I am livid. Hubs finally had his nephrology follow up today. We were in that office for almost 2 hours. Doc sent us to the ER for some stat imaging. We got to the ER at about 2:45, we finally signed out AMA at 8:15. Utterly ridiculous to spend 5 hours waiting and still didn't get anything done.
I hate having to wait til the middle of the night to do laundry. It's too hot to run the dryer during the day.
Ideas for celebrating an anniversary with my 80 y/o hubs with dementia. He gets agitated in crowds. All the restaurants close to us are outrageously expensive. The only family we have close is my sister and her s/o, a niece and a nephew. Dementia sucks the life out of you.
Right now I am wishing I had a little cottage on a beach somewhere and just enough to cover the needs of me and my cats. I just want peace and tranquility for whatever is left of my life.

Went to visit hubs at the hospital today. His kidney values have come up some, but are still not good. With it being the weekend here in small town USA the hospital staff is limited. The doc should be in the morning so I plan to be there bright and early to talk to him. I need to know what's what
