Being located in the heart of Capitol Hill has many perks, including our proximity to Pinoyshki. And as it turns out, we partially have ourselves to thank for the creations of its lead pastry chef, Jacob Hallberg (‘17)! 😆 🥧 Devour the full story at the news link in our bio!

Jacob smiles wide, looking at the camera. His eyes sparkle. In his hands, he holds a board, upon which rests his iconic biscuits and gravy pastry. Two pastries with flaky crusts rest upon a lacy white paper. One pastry is a pinwheel with red cherry folds and a dollop of custard in the middle, garnished with three whole cherries. The other pinwheel is a chocolate croissant featuring dark brown stripes.

Yesterday we welcomed nearly 100 new Tigers to our campus! Incoming students were greeted by Interim President Chantae Recasner, got acquainted with their area of study, met faculty and current students and learned more about Central's programs at a lively resource fair. 💐🐯😊
