This week’s main story is about how police use surveillance tools like cameras, microphones, license plate readers, “cell site simulators,” and the practice of “predictive policing,” to create a world that has been lovingly described as “Big Brother on steroids.” Full segment at the link in our bio.

We’re back with a new show tonight at 11:15pm on HBO! Right after an 8-hour marathon of House of the Dragon, and right before another 3-hour block of House of the Dragon. That’s right, we’re the thinly sliced meat in the middle of a thick, thick dragon sandwich. Just how we like it. WHAT.

This week’s story is about Trump’s sprawling and ethically compromising cryptocurrency projects, how they’ve created massive conflicts of interest for the Trump administration, and why the pages of Trump’s bibles might be sticky. Ok fine, we think it was Craig.

We’re back with a new show tonight at 11:15pm on HBO! And we need the extra 15 minutes to catch up on the past month’s worth of news, of course. So far it’s mostly just “blah blah, lettuce, feces, blah blah” so we think 15 mins should be enough time to do a full debrief.

This summer, John will appear in not one but TWO soap operas. And we would like to thank both General Hospital and Days of Our Lives for each doing something uniquely outlandish to his hair. Finally: John is hot. Photos courtesy of: Chris Bartolucci/ABC/Disney & Chris Haston/Days of our Lives.

This week’s story is about how, despite midterms being 4 months away, some of the biggest decisions that may decide election results already took place. All thanks to redrawing of congressional maps in key states, and a governor who sounds like Elmer Fudd. It’s not all on him, but he’s not helping.

We’re back with a new show tonight at 11:15pm! We told House of the Dragon we would not stand for being bumped by even one minute this week. Then the dragons made some compelling points by looking at us with their beady dragon eyes, so we decided to compromise! 11:15 it is.

This week’s main story is about an unexpected foe: feral hogs. John discusses how, as cute as they may be, they are causing massive amounts of damage that has now spread to 36 states. And why, like with many things, we can at least partially blame Christopher Columbus.

We’re back with a new show tonight at 11:30pm on HBO! 30 minutes late because, you guessed it! The dragons are back. We always get bumped by those winged little freaks. Do dragons have social media? If they do, we meant freaks like FREAK IT YOU BEAUTIFUL FIRE-BREATHING MIRACLES. Nice birdy birdy.

This week’s main story is about next week’s election in the UK, why the 76,000 voters of Makerfield could determine who becomes the next prime minister of the UK, and John’s troubling online comments about lemurs. We are so sorry. He will do better.

This week’s main story is about a small liberal arts college in Florida, why Ron DeSantis decided to take it over three years ago, how it’s been going since then, and when we can all expect Russell Brand to finally appear at their “cancel cancel culture center.”

We’re back tonight at 11pm on @HBO! Right after the Earth, Wind & Fire documentary, and right before an encore presentation of the Earth, Wind & Fire documentary. In case you need a 40-minute break from enjoying world-renowned musicians. Because whatever “music” is, John is the opposite.

This week’s main story is about who Trump has pardoned since he’s been in office, how his exercise of the power is distorting our justice system, and some ideas for what to name your electric vehicle startup company since “Tesla” is taken. Ok fine! Tesla 2. You’re welcome.

We’re back tonight at 11pm on @HBOmax! After 14 days of “vacation.” Or, as we like to call it, “the long, lonely fortnight forced upon us by our corporate overlords, during which a wedge of frigid isolation is driven between us and our one true love: the audience.” Tomato, toe-mah-toe, we’re back!

A huge thank you to Larry David, Alex Moffat, Victor Garber, James Monroe Iglehart, Megan Hilty and our entire cast of more honest vikings, for giving us a new and improved structured settlements jingle! Now you will never forget: factoring companies will bleed you till you're dead!
