I think there's arguments for and against the digitalisation of reading lists, but I will say the real reason I fell in love with academia was just standing in a library stack and seeing how much knowledge there was!

Increasingly baffled by "AI powered" summaries and searches on academic papers. firstly, the abstract is the summary, secondly if I need to understand something about the paper, I can read it? if I need to find a specific phrase ctrl f does absolutely fine
